MOTORCYCLE SONG

I’M RIDING ON A MOTORCYCLE THAT HAS NO WHEELS
ON A ROAD TO MEXICO
I DO NOT KNOW IF IT’S FUTURE OR IT’S PAST
ONLY KNOW I’VE GOT TO GO

I AM SURROUNDED BY A HUNDRED HANDSOME MEN
WATCHING ME DRIVE MY CLEAN MACHINE
I’M NOT AFRAID THOUGH I AM ALL ALONE
GIVING MYSELF JUST WHAT I NEED

OR IS THIS A DREAM OF LONG AGO?
IS THIS A DREAM OF LONG AGO?

I FIND MYSELF IN THE STATION
THE LIGHTS ARE BRIGHT
I CAN FEEL MY NAKED COLD
THERE IS ALEXIS AND SHE REACHES OUT HER HAND
TELL ME AM I SUPPOSED TO HOLD

OR IS THIS A DREAM OF LONG AGO?
IS THIS A DREAM OF LONG AGO?

I’M STANDING IN AN EMPTY GARDEN
WITH FLOWERS BARE
I DO NOT KNOW WHERE I AM
CUERNAVACA ON A SULTRY SUMMERS DAY
COULD IT BE I AM HOME AT LAST

THIS AIN’T NO DREAM OF LONG AGO
NO THIS AIN’T NO DREAM OF LONG AGO

COMMENT:
This song came out of a dream.
I was around 29 years old.
It knocked my socks off.
I don’t even know how to describe what it told me.
Looking back now, I think it was a prophetic glimpse in to the journey of this lifetime.
And that being present is TRULY all there is.
It forced me to own my mysticism not just in the privacy of my own realm.
But in front of all other beings.
This ain’t no dream Pilar
This is a realized life.
